Los Angeles Lakers star LeBron James may be 38 years old, but his meme game remains on point.
Hours after the Lakers’ 129—120 win over the Oklahoma City Thunder on Saturday night, James celebrated by posting a personalized meme that perfectly encapsulated the four-time NBA champion’s performance in the victory.
Following the win, James offered a wholesome take about wanting to celebrate the holidays with his family. His recent Instagram post, however, could be considered a little more on the smug side.
James, who went off for a season-high 40 points, seven rebounds and seven assists, revisited the infamous “That motherf—er is not real” meme in reference to his monster game.
In the post, the woman utters her iconic line while pointing at an unseen figure in the back of the plane. But when the camera pans to the back, a cutout of James shooting ice into his veins can be seen. (Warning: Vulgar language.)
Though the 19-time All-Star got help from D’Angelo Russell and Rui Hachimura to clinch the Lakers’ 16th win of the season, James, who turns 39 on Saturday, was the shining star of the show. In his epic 40-point performance, James went 5-for-5 from beyond the arc and added two steals and two blocks.
The Lakers (16–14) halted a four-game losing streak with Saturday’s win over Oklahoma City and will face the Celtics (22–6) at 5 p.m. ET at home in a highly anticipated Christmas Day matchup.
